50-year-old man arrested for raping two daughters

Ludhiana: The police, on Monday night, arrested a 50-year-old man for raping his two daughters.
His 48-year-old wife said in her police complaint, “We have five daughters. Two are married, two are minors and one is 18-year-old. A few months ago, I had caught my husband raping our daughter. When I said I would lodge a police complaint, he apologized and assured not to repeat it. I married my daughter soon thereafter.”
“However, for the past few months, my younger daughter had been looking upset. She stopped talking with us and her behaviour changed. I asked her the reason several times, but she did not say anything. Meanwhile, I had to go out of Ludhiana for a few days as my elder daughter had given birth to a baby. When I was there with her, my husband started assaulting my 18-year-old daughter. She called up her elder sister and told her about it. On learning about the assault, I rushed back to Ludhiana. My husband abused and threatened me to stop me from lodging a police complaint against him,” she added.
ASI Avtar Singh said, “We have registered an FIR and arrested the accused.”
