Driver molests Chandigarh superintendent, held

CHANDIGARH: Police have arrested a 57-year-old driver for allegedly sexually harassing and stalking a superintendent of the UT administration from Sector 9.
The accused is Shamsher Singh, a resident of Sector 23. Both complainant and the accused were working in the same building.
The woman alleged the accused had been stalking her for last two weeks. Initially, she ignored his activities. On Monday evening, when she was returning home after finishing her shift, the accused allegedly pushed and molested her near the UT secretariat in Sector 9. She called up police. Cops reached the spot and nabbed the accused. A court on Tuesday remanded him in judicial custody for 14 days.
