SURAT: Suspecting her of extra-marital affair, a textile trader brutally murdered his wife by slitting her throat and stabbing her multiple times in
Dindoli area on Tuesday.

Zala wanted his wife to confess about the affair, but she repeateadly denied, police said.
Police nabbed Zala from Athwa Lines when he was searching for legal help after killing his wife. He was booked for the murder and the complaint was lodged by his 19-year-old son.
On Tuesday morning, he came home and started crying that no one was helping him. He asked his son to get some snacks from outside saying that he was hungry and gave him money. After a while, when his 16-year-old daughter went to take a bath, Zala went into the bedroom where Hansaba was there. He locked the room from inside and started stabbing her.
Their daughter heard mother's screams for help but to no avail. After their son came home, he got another key and opened the door.
Zala had escaped from the window. Accused later took his mini-SUV to the service station and then went to search for a lawyer.
Zala had developed severe disputes with his wife over the past three months and had even attacked her on April 12 with a sword. After the attack, he used to stay away from the family.
"We saved the woman's life on April 12 but this time, Zala fooled his children. His son searched my number from the internet and called me as he called me as Zala was attacking the woman with a sword. I had sent a team and the police reached in time," said M

Zala had stolen her phone three months ago and retrieved old images.
He found her photos with a man and since then, he was pressuring his wife to should confess to the relationship which she denied.
