Two Ganjam girls rescued from TN, AP

Berhampur: Police have rescued two girls, both of whom are minors, from Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh over the last three days.
Though they had reportedly eloped with the accused persons, their families had lodged complaints of abduction against the latter. While one of the accused persons has been detained, the other has been arrested.
A 15-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted by a 28-year-old man from her village more than a year ago, was rescued in Chennai on Tuesday.
Similarly, police in Gangapur rescued a 17-year old girl, who was allegedly abducted by an 18-year-old youth on April 25, from Vijayawada.tnn
