Dharwad paediatrician conferredhonorary doctorate by RGUHS

Dharwad: Senior pediatrician from Dharwad, Dr Rajan Deshpande was conferred Doctor of Science - Honoris causa by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at its 24th annual convocation in Bengaluru.
Governor Thawarchand Gehlot, the chancellor of the university, presented the honorary doctorate certificate in the presence of Union minister of state for healthBharati Pawar, and Karnataka health minister K Sudhakar.
Dr Rajan is a senior consultant pediatrician with over four decades of experience .He is known for his academic excellence and social service to the community.He is deeply involved in prevention of malnutrition of children, immunisations and care for infants. tnn
