40-yr-old vendor dies after stone hits him

Gurgaon: A 40-year-old roadside vendor died after a mentally-challenged person allegedly threw a stone that hit him on the head in Sector 50 on Monday, police said.
Ramesh Ram was on a bicycle when the stone hit him. He fell off the two-wheeler and lay bleeding when his wife, a domestic help, spotted him while walking back to their house in Sector 65. With the help of some passersby, Ram was taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Police said an FIR has been registered at the Sector 50 police station under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the IPC. The accused is on the run.
