Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail has said 45.46 lakh passengers travelled in its trains in April, 2022.
‘On 25 April, a total of 1,74,475 passengers had used the Metro Trains
services to commute,’ it said in a statement.
‘CMRL offers a 20 per cent discount on QR Code ticketing (Single, Return, Group Tickets and QR Trip passes). Additionally, 20 per cent discount fares are available on Metro Train Travel Cards,’ it added.
In another release, CMRL said in association with ‘On The Streets of Chennai’, it will be performing a live music performances at the Metro Stations.
‘The events are being conducting as part of celebrating Tamil culture and
heritage and AKAM (75th year of independence).’
