AHMEDABAD: A 19-year-old man from the Memnagar area of the city on Sunday filed a complaint that his two friends thrashed him for damaging shoes of one of the friends around three months ago.
Dev Vaghela in his complaint with Naranpura police said that he had befriended two Naranpura residents — Mitesh Parekh and Preet Rajput around a year ago when he was also living in Naranpura.
Three months ago, Vaghela had borrowed Parekh’s shoes for a day during which one of the shoes got damaged. Vaghela gave Rs 6,000 to Parekh as compensation.
But Parekh was seeking more money from him, mentioned the FIR. On Sunday evening, when Vaghela went to a tea-stall, Parekh and Rajput came there and asked for money. Vaghela told them that he did not have money. The duo later thrashed Vaghela. Vaghela later filed a complaint with Naranpura police.
