Bihar: 2 kids die as truck rams into house in Supaul district

PATNA: Two children died and two others were critically injured when a truck loaded with construction material rammed into a house on the roadside at Gaghar village under Triveniganj police station area in Supaul district on Monday.
The incident took place at around 4am on NH-327E (Pipra-Triveniganj road) when the victims were fast asleep in their house.
The deceased were identified as Shravan Kumar (5) and his sister Saraswati Kumari (7).
Their mother Ranjana Devi and brother Laxman Kumar (3) were injured in the accident and undergoing treatment at a hospital. Ranjana’s husband Anil Ram, a daily wager, was not in the house at the time of the accident.
Sandeep Kumar Singh, in-charge of Triveniganj police station, said the truck was seized but the driver managed to escape.
