Corruption allegedHubballi:
Vadde Sena National president Dr Thipperudraswamy alleged that there is rampant corruption in Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation. He told reporters that many middlemen are involved in making money from the beneficiaries and demanding commission for every scheme launched by the government. “Other corporations, meant for the welfare of other communities, have already adopted online systems. But Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation is still running in offline mode,” he alleged. There are nearly one crore people belonging to the Bhovi community, but according to the census, only 60,000 people are registered. “Many benefits such as Ganga Kalyan, housing loan scheme, vehicle scheme and other schemes meant for Bhovi community are not reaching the beneficiaries,” he said. Vadde Sena is planning to launch protests across the state against this corruption, he added.
