PATNA: After turning down
Congress’s offer, poll strategist
Prashant Kishor on Monday dropped hints of taking a political plunge in
Bihar.
Kishor, who hails from Buxar, tweeted: “My quest to be a meaningful participant in democracy and help shape pro-people policy led to a 10-year rollercoaster ride. As I turn the page, time to go to the Real Masters, THE PEOPLE, to better understand the issues and the path to
Jan Suraj -- People’s Good Governance.” He added the hashtag, “shuruat Bihar se”.
According to I-PAC, the political consultancy firm founded by Kishor, he will hold a press conference at
Patna on May 5 to formally announce his plans. After his arrival in Patna on Sunday, Kishor, popularly known as PK, has been meeting people from the civil society.
“Kishor talked to me at Sheikhpura House this afternoon. He asked me how we can associate with each other. He said their mission is not to make MLAs and MPs, but to know the ground reality from people. He sought my opinion on how Bihar can be changed and developed,” Mukesh Hissariya, who runs a non-commercial blood centre in Patna, told TOI.
