The royal family on Sunday released new photographs of Princess Charlotte to celebrate her birthday.
Charlotte – who is fourth in line to the British throne behind her grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and elder brother Prince George – turns seven on Monday, 2 May.
The photos were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in Norfolk over the weekend, and show Charlotte enjoying the UK spring weather.
One of the snaps also shows the princess hugging their family dog – a cocker spaniel that the Cambridges adopted from a litter raised by Kate's brother James Middleton after the death of their beloved dog, Lupo.

Kate, who is the patron of the Royal Photographic Society, is an avid photographer and has taken many of the family's official portraits.
She recently photographed their youngest son, Prince Louis, to celebrate his fourth birthday on 23 April. Royal fans will, therefore, expect to see new portraits of Prince George when he turns nine on 22 July.
