Ramzan rush prompts cops to divert traffic in twin cities

Hubballi: Police have diverted traffic and altered bus stoppages to facilitate mass Ramzan prayer on Tuesday from 8am to 12pm.
KSRTC buses moving from Gadag to the railway station should stop at Pinto Circle and drop off passengers. Other vehicles coming from the railway station and Desai Cross via Pinto Circle should reach Lakshmi Weigh Bridge and Hosur Cross via Cotton Market. Buses coming from Navalgund should drop off passengers at Sarvodaya Circle. Buses from Navalgund should drop off passengers at Sarvodaya Circle. Vehicles coming from Pinto Circle will be routed through the Cotton Market to Hosur Circle. Desai Cross traffic from Cotton Market will be diverted to Navalgund Road. Vehicles travelling from Karwar Road Plaza to Tarihal will be detoured via Gokul Road, Hosur Circle, Dharwad, or KTC Cross to Navalgund or Gadag road.

Vehicles travelling from Bengaluru to Dharwad will be diverted to the left towards Kamaripet Police Station to reach Hosur Circle via MTV Mill and Vani Vilas Cross.
Long distance buses arriving from Gadag Road and from the rural areas to Hubballi must take the Ring Road via Gabbur Bypass, Karwar Road or Tarihal By Pass to reach Hosur Bus Station. Buses coming to Hubballi from Navalgund, Bagalkot, Vijayapura and the rural areas via the Ring Road near Kusugal must reach the Hosur bus station by Gabbur bypass, Karwar Road or Tarihal bypass. Vehicles arriving from both Bengaluru and Kalghatgi and rural areas are prohibited from going to Indi Pump but have to go through the bypass.
Other vehicles coming from Gadag and railway station can move via KH Patil Road, DRM Cross, Desai Circle Under Bridge, Cotton Market, Lakshmi Weigh Bridge and Hosur Cross. Vehicles coming from Navalgund Road should pass through Sarvodaya Circle, Desai Circle Under Bridge and come to Lakshmi Weigh Bridge and Hosur Cross via Cotton Market.
Vehicles from Bengaluru side and from Karwar Road should move by from Karwar Road Plaza to Tarihala via Gokul Road via Vani Vilasa Cross to Hosur Bus Station. Vehicles from Gokul Road towards Dharwad should go through Bhagat Singh Circle and then link to Navalgund Road or Gadag Road via Desai under bridge.
