Ganga at the
Koyla Ghat in the Cantt area of the city, died after they drowned in deep waters.
Both of them had left the house saying that they were going for a morning walk at a nearby park and instead they reached the Koyla Ghat of Ganga in the Cantt area.
It was when they were bathing, they went into the deep waters and drowned.

Sushant Pal, son of
Neeraj Pal, was a resident of Chhabiley Purwa of Chakeri.
“Sushant's 21-year-old cousin Pulkit, a resident of Barra, has been staying at his house for the past few days. On Sunday morning, the two, on the pretext of morning walk, left the house and reached the Koyla Ghat on the banks of Ganga and started bathing in the river. While bathing the two slipped and went into deep waters and drowned," the police further said.
When the two did not reach their home, their family members reached the Koyla Ghat looking for them.
Later, they came across their clothes and mobile phones lying at the ghat. Fearing any untoward happening, they immediately alerted the police.
The police reached the spot and after a rescue operation fished out the bodies with the help of local divers. Subsequently, the police rushed them to KPM Hospital where the doctors declared both of them dead.
