Mangaluru: The Puttur Rural police have arrested a man, who had been absconding, by failing to appear before the court for the last two years. The additional senior civil judge and JMFC court had even issued a warrant against Mohammed Kabir aka Kabir.
He was booked under various charges, including theft and trespassing.
The police personnel arrested him from his house at Chattangal in Kasaragod. It is learnt that he has various cases lodged against him in Puttur town, Sullia and Madikeri police stations, and police stations in Kerala.
He was produced before a court on Sunday.
