Prayagraj: With the construction of 14 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (
STP) in full swing under the Namami Gange project at Phaphamau area in trans-Ganga pocket of the
Prayagraj district, traffic police authorities on Sunday claimed that road diversion plan for heavy and commercial vehicles has been implemented on Prayagraj- Lucknow -
Ayodhya route till the project work was over.
As sewage pumping station (SPS) was under-construction phase near Basna nullah and work of laying sewer line was also being carried out at speeding pace, traffic diversion has been implemented for heavy and commercial vehicles on Prayagraj –Lucknow – Pratapgarh and Ayodhya highway to regulate traffic free flow.
All heavy and commercial vehicles running on
Rai Bareilly and Prayagraj route have been diverted through Nawabanj bypass, Sahson, Andhawa crossing and
Jhunsi Shastri bridge to reach city areas.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Pratapagarh and Ayodhya have also been diverted through Soroan bypass, Sahson bypass, Andhawa crossing and Shastri bridge Jhunsi to reach city.
