Kubernagar ward recounting on May 7: State Election Commission

Gandhinagar: A statement issued on Saturday by the Gujarat state election commission (SEC) said that recounting of votes for ward no 14 – Kubernagar of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation — the election for which was held in 2021, will be taken up on May 7.
A petition had been filed in the Supreme Court, which directed on April 26 that recounting of votes for the ward should be taken up within 14 days.
Recounting will be done at LD Engineering College from 9am on May 7, the SEC release said.
