Mandya: Heavy rainfall has killed scores of parrots near Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangapatna on Friday night. Hundreds of parrots were nesting in big trees near the temple. On Friday night, a tree was uprooted, killing the parrots. Locals buried the dead parrots on Saturday. tnn
