3 youths detained for riding bike on footbridge

Bhubaneswar: Police on Saturday detained three youths and issued a notice to one of them for allegedly riding a motorcycle on the Kalinga Stadium connector footbridge here. The youths reportedly took the bike to the bridge. Locals said the trio, all residents of Niladri Vihar locality, were taking selfies with the motorcycle on the bridge. Later, the police released them. A case has been registered against one of the youths under section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, for driving the bike dangerously on the bridge, said a police officer. tnn
