Bihar: Paramour kills woman in Nalanda dist

BIHARSHARIF: A man allegedly killed his live-in partner, a mother of two children, with the help of other family members at village Kanhaiya Ganj under Pirbigha police outpost (OP) in Nalanda district on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Rishi Kumari. Her body had deep bruises and cut marks apparently caused due to attack with brick and stones.
Confirming the brutal killing, Hilsa SDPO Krishna Murari said accused Manoj Mistry's father Nawal Sharma has been detained for interrogation while raids were on to arrest Manoj and other named accused.
The deceased used to live with Manoj in a rented accommodation at Hilsa with her two children after leaving her husband eight years ago, he said.
Meanwhile, Silao police on Thursday recovered the mutilated body of a woman from a field near Narhar village. The deceased was identified as Lalita Devi of village Mandilpur under Rahui police station area.
