First Covid death in Bihar after a month

PATNA: After more than a month, the state reported the death of a Covid patient. The last Covid death was reported on March 21. The 64-year-old, a resident of Phulwarisharif, died in a private hospital in Patna on Thursday. Hospital sources said he had been admitted on April 24. “He had no comorbidity,” said a staff.
The death has increased the toll to 12,257 in the state. As per the state health department, there were 31 active cases, including two new cases, on Thursday.
