Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Power(Rs. 139.65 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 94.51 crore), TV18 Broadcast(Rs. 40.36 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 39.83 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 37.03 crore), Ruchi Soya Inds(Rs. 35.77 crore), Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd.(Rs. 33.03 crore), RIL(Rs. 32.70 crore), Rel Ind Infra(Rs. 31.21 crore) and JM Financial(Rs. 29.93 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:20AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 75.65 points up at 17114.05, while BSE Sensex was up 270.08 points at 57089.47 as of 11:20AM(IST)on April 28.

In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 3.56 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.59 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) were among the top losers.
