World Safety Day observed

Surat: Steel major ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS India) will observe the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on Thursday with a series of lectures and events.
Events organised to mark the day include a signature campaign by all heads of departments and a blood donation camp. An online session on insights on safety has also been organised and will be attended by AM/NS India’s top management. A free eye check-up camp for drivers will be held while expert faculty have been invited to provide safety training.
“Safety is our highest priority and nothing is more important than the safety of people who work here... There should be zero fatality, zero serious injury, and zero harm at our operations,’’ said a company release. tnn
