Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 10:14AM

Agro Phos(up 8.91%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.78%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.00%), Sikko Industries(down 3.66%), Aries Agro(down 3.65%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 3.58%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 3.08%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.97%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.60%), Madras Fertlizers(down 2.51%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.84%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 123.75 points down at 17077.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 352.84 points at 57003.77 at around 10:14AM.

Reliance Industries(up 1.6%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.78%), HDFC Bank(up 0.45%), HDFC(up 0.18%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.12%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance(down 4.7%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.87%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.63%), Wipro(down 2.39%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 2.12%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 2.08%), Coal India(down 1.91%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.81%), Shree Cement(down 1.81%) and Grasim Industries(down 1.77%) were trading in the red.
