After this he has come very close to becoming the owner of the social media platform. The deal is expected to be completed this year, but is yet to be approved by shareholders and US regulators.

According to the US newspaper, Parag Aggarwal told the employees that he estimated that the deal could take three to six months to complete. He said that in the meantime we will continue to operate Twitter as before.

Agarwal told the employees of the company that how we run the company, the decisions we take and the positive changes we make - will depend on us and will be under our control. However, now the future of Twitter employees is clouded by uncertainty, who feared layoffs in the wake of the acquisition by Elon Musk.
