Campus Activewear may find its fit with high-risk investors

With close to 17% market share, Campus is the largest sports and athleisure footwear company in the country in terms of volume and value.

    Synopsis

At Rs 711 crore, the company’s FY21 revenue was affected due to the pandemic related lockdowns. However, it posted a sharp recovery in the first nine months of FY22 with a revenue of Rs 842 crore.

ET Intelligence Group: The public issue of Campus Activewear, a footwear company, is entirely an offer for sale by the existing investors and promoters. After the IPO, the promoter group’s stake will fall to over 74% from 78.2%. Although the company has reported a sharp recovery over the past few quarters, the IPO’s pricing seems to be aggressive. Therefore, it is more suitable for investors with a high-risk appetite. BusinessWith close to 17%
