It's raining wickets here for Sunrisers. Umran Malik takes the wicket of Shahbaz Ahmed, an easy catch by Pooran does the rest. This is some bowling from Umran Mallik. RCB are 49/7 after 9.4 overs.
J Suchith fetches the wicket of Karthik. He goes back to the pavilion without scoring any runs. Dinesh looks to sweep the ball but ends up getting caught by Pooran. RCB are 47/6 after 9 overs.

Maxwell has a terrific strike rate of 152.91 against the Sunrisers. Will he be able to fire tonight?
Simon Doull: It is a very high-scoring ground, the surface looks magnificent. Five times the team batting second has won, four times the team batting first has won. It's got a nice covering of grass on it, great sound to it, good pace, good bounce. The grass coverage just gives a little bit of pace and bounce as well. I think we need to see bowlers getting a little bit shorter here at the Brabourne Stadium and getting the batsmen to hit square of the wicket - use those big pockets. It is a really good surface. If you do have to bat first, put 180 on the board and you are in the game.

Days later, late at night, it was busy glorifying MS Dhoni’s last-ball four and trolling Jaydev Unadkat’s shin-high full toss. (Read More)

Already a household name in his native Jammu, Malik’s foray into the IPL began with a chance to bowl at the Sunrisers Hyderabad nets. There, when he started bowling north of 150 clicks, it seemed like another Indian bowling prodigy had been unearthed. And then an injury to T Natarajan handed Umran the opportunity of a lifetime.
