Share price of Adani Total Gas Ltd. dropped 2.26 per cent to Rs 2428.0 at 10:50AM (IST) in Thursday's trade. The counter hit a high of Rs 2527.9 and low of Rs 2416.0 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 2484.2 in the previous session.

The counter had a total traded volume of 10:50AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 2.4 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 468.27 and a price-to-book ratio of 54.67.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

Adani Total Gas Ltd. belongs to the Gas Distribution industry.

Promoters held 74.8 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while overseas investors and domestic institutional investors ownership stood at 18.16 per cent and 4.72 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 891.33 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2021, up 34.39 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 663.22 crore and up 76.54 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 504.88 crore.

Its profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 127.61 crore, down 12.52 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
