
NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Future Consumer (12.85%), VRL Logistics(12.76%), FutureLifestyleFash(12.66%), Cupid Ltd(10.99%), Sinclairs Hotel(10.63%), Uttam Sugar Mil(10.2%), Olympic Cards(10.0%), Milestone Furniture(10.0%) and Atul Auto(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 457.09 points up at 57494.59, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 128.3 points to 17264.85.
In the Nifty 50 index, 40 stocks traded in the green, while 10 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Prerna Infra, HB Stockholding, Bansal Roofing Prod., VRL Logistics and Cupid Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Seacoast Shipping, Birla Tyres, Kanungo Financiers, Manraj Housing and Indo-Global Enterpri touched their new 52-week low in trade.
