Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:39AM

Aries Agro(up 7.59%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 5.94%), Agro Phos(up 4.64%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.70%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.94%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.92%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.75%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.50%), National Fertilizer(up 0.72%) and G S F C(up 0.51%) were among the top gainers.

KRISHANA(down 5.02%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 2.41%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 1.44%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.40%), Sikko Industries(down 0.55%), Coromandel International(down 0.37%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.33%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 8.45 points up at 17182.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 38.42 points at 57128.32 at around 10:39AM.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 4.78%), Reliance Industries(up 2.52%), Coal India(up 2.35%), Eicher Motors(up 1.82%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.76%), JSW Steel(up 1.46%), ICICI Bank(up 1.33%), State Bank of India(up 1.23%), Axis Bank(up 1.15%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.14%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, HDFC(down 3.78%), HDFC Bank(down 2.82%), Infosys(down 1.17%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.89%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.82%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.8%), SBI Life(down 0.72%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.57%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.35%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.35%) were trading in the red.
