'KGF: Chapter 2' is riding the wave and there's no stopping its performance at the box office.

Within five days since its release last Thursday (April 14), the Hindi version of the Yash starrer is heading for the Rs 200-crore-mark on Monday. Movie analysts are confident that the film will break the box-office record of 'Baahubali 2' which entered the same club on its sixth day.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the brilliant box-office performance of 'KGF 2' in the Hindi markets. He said that the film's Hindi dubbed version has become the fastest movie to make Rs 200 crore in a matter of five days.

The movie made Rs 53.95 crore on the release day, Rs 46.79 crore on last Friday, and Rs 42.90 crore and Rs 50.35 crore (Saturday and Sunday, respectively) during the weekend. It has earned Rs 193.99 crore till Sunday.

"'KGF 2' is rewriting record books," Adarsh said in his tweet.


It also emerged as the highest Day 2 grosser after successfully collecting Rs 228 crore gross in the Hindi belt on its fourth day.

Last week, the movie critic announced that all versions of 'KGF 2' had smashed previously held records on Day 1 by minting a total Rs 134.50 crore.

The movie was released nationwide in five languages - Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. 'KGF 2' is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner.
