BJP President JP Nadda has attacked the opposition over the incidents of violence at places on Hanuman Janmotsav. He said that these attacks are the result of the anger of the opposition. He also made serious allegations against the Congress regarding these attacks.
JP Nadda said that Congress is doing the work of dividing the society. He said that the BJP's victory has shocked the opposition and in a design way, sometimes on Ram Navami procession and sometimes on Hanuman Janmotsav processions are being attacked.
So far, 20 people have been arrested by the police in connection with the attack on the Hanuman Janmotsav procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. Two minors are also included in the arrested accused. The main accused in the attack, Aslam and Ansar, have been sent on one-day police remand by the Rohini Court. At the same time, the other accused have been sent to judicial custody for 15 days.
JP Nadda on Sunday called upon the workers of the ruling party in Karnataka to be the agents of change and ensure that the country progresses. Assembly elections are due in Karnataka in early 2023. He was addressing party workers in the State Executive Committee there. He said, "We are taking forward our 'Mission Repeat' with great strength. We are moving ahead with the mantra of 'nation first, then party and self last."
Nadda asked party workers and leaders to reach out to the public and create awareness about the good work done by the BJP government in the state as well as at the Centre, in view of the assembly elections in Karnataka.
He said that the vision and mission of the party should be clear like a mirror that the workers and leaders are not behind becoming the chair, MLA, minister or MP, but to ensure that there is a change in the society. Nadda also mentioned the various schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which have changed the lives of the people. These include Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, One Nation One Ration Card and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Bima Yojana.
The BJP leader asked the party cadre to be prepared for the next elections in the state. "With the blessings of Modi and Yediyurappa and under the leadership of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, this is the golden age of Karnataka, where it can march towards development. He said adding that BJP is the only option which would take the country on the path of development. No leader in Congress or regional party can tell what they are going to do for the people.
The BJP leader claimed, "People from other parties are talking about regionalism, language and caste and dividing people but they don't even have words to wipe the tears of poor people."
