Live news updates: Union Home Minister Amit Shah asks the police to ensure peace after violence in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri during Hanuman Jayanti procession. Police officials were injured and vehicles torched in the violence, PTI reported.
"A clash broke out between two communities. But we have deployed adequate forces and senior officers are also at the spot. The situation is being brought under control now," said a senior police officer.
