At the the end of the game, as reported by this newspaper, there was no handshakes between the two teams. Delhi Capitals were requested by BCCI to keep social distancing and not shake or hug at end of the game as two of their support staff have tested Covid positive. And so when the game ended, barring the two departing batsmen, the rest of the Delhi team stayed in the dugout beyond the boundary. Virat Kohli took a couple of steps towards them from the middle, clapped and put his left hand up and waved. Afterwards, a few Delhi players and RCB players had a chat, with sufficient distance between them.

Final over now and Harshal Patel to bowl and the first ball is steered to the boundary. They need 23 from 4 balls now. Need sixes and fours in order to achieve it. Another dot by Harshal. Great bowling. A four off the next ball. Just 2 balls left and 19 runs to get. 2 runs in the next ball. All academic from here. That's it. Delhi finish with a one. RCB win by 16 runs
That's another one gone as Hazlewood gets his third. Shardul tries to hit a big one. Did not get the required connection and it's taken by Dinesh Karthik. DC 156/7 after 18.1 overs.
Harshal Patel in to bowl the 18th now and you feel that the match has probably slipped from Delhi's grasp. That's a six by Thakur. It might be too late for that though. 11 from this over. DC 156/6 after 18 overs.
Pant has now taken on Siraj and doled out the same treatment to him. A huge six to start and the next ball Siraj gets his revenge as Pant departs after trying to slash another one. Whatt a catch by Kohli. One-handed!!! DC 142/6 after 16.3 overs.
David Warner’s wicket was the game-turning moment allright and just in case anyone missed the significance, Virat Kohli reminded them with his celebrations. Warner had been trapped lbw after he failed to connect with a reverse-slog and RCB had taken the decision upstairs for the review. The bowler Wanindu Hasaranga and Dinesh Karthik were so sure but on first replay the point of impact seemed a bit iffy and slowly the Bangalore players started to disperse from the huddle. They stopped again to check the mat-lines replay on the big screen and were joyous to see the verdict fall in their offer. No one more than Kohli, of course. After an initial cry of fist pump and roar - just a warm up for him - he ran a detour, cut across the path of Warner, screaming his joy which as ever seemed tinged with anger, before he joined his team-mates. Warner, who was having a chat with the umpire about the replay, had a look at Kohli, turned to finish his conversation with the umpire and walked off. At the end of the over, as Kohli was crossing over, he had a look at himself on the big screen, roaring away.

What a way to start the innings by Shardul as he hits a 6 off the first ball of the 16th over. Pant hits another one for a four and the next one is hit for a 6!! This is insane hitting. Hasaranga getting mauled in this over. 19 off the over. DC 134/5 after 16 overs.
ANOTHER DOWN!!!! Hazlewood has turned this match right on its head. Lalit Yadav departs now as Hazlewood takes his second wicket of the over. DC 115-5 after 15 overs
GONE!!!!! First ball by Hazlewood and he snares a wicket. Not a good day for Powell as he is caught behind by Dinesh Karthik. He departs for a golden duck. DC 112/4 after 14.1 overs.
A very clever shot by Pant to start the 14th over. He just scoop paddled Hasaranga for a boundary. And he clears the boundary again. This time to fine leg. And that's out!! Pant hits one straight and Hasaranga gets a finger on it before the wickets at the non-striker's end is rattled. Marsh was out of his crease and he has to depart. DC 112/3 after 14 overs.
Siraj is brought into the attack again. Pant takes a single and the strike is back to the struggling Marsh who takes a 2. Another single and Pant is on strike now. And is that a drop? Not really. Just fell short of the RCB fielder. 5 off the over. 100 comes up for Delhi. DC 100/2 after 13 overs.
Hasaranga to bowl the 12th over and a single to start by Marsh. He isn't getting the required connection at the moment. There's a review on Warner now for LBW. Looks out and yes it is. The stumps are hitting. Huge blow for Delhi as Warner departs. DC 94/2 after 11.3 overs.
Harshal Patel to bowl the 11th over. What a huge hit!!!!! That's gone over deep mid-wicket and disappeared into the upper stands. Warner is in some form. Marsh needs to break his shackles and go for some hits like that. Anoter delightful touch to send the last ball to the boundary. DC 93/1 after 11 overs.
Shahbaz Ahmed in to bowl the 10th over. Can he break the Aussie partnership? 4 runs off the first 5 balls. Asking rate going up steadily though. Great over. Just 4 from this one. DC 79/1 after 10 overs.
Maxwell in to bowl the 9th over. And that's 50 for David Warner. Pretty good over from the Australian to the Australians. Just 5 from this over. DC 75/1 after 9 overs.
Hasaranga in to bowl the 8th over. RCB need wickets now and he is the man to do it. Warner, however, has other ideas as he smashes a six to deep mid-wicket. 8 off this over. DC 70/1 after 8 overs.
Warner makes a room and cuts it between points and covers, picking a boundary. He does it against Hazlewood. That's attacking cricket by Warner. DC are 57/1 after 6 overs.
Warner hits it straight this time against Siraj. Great shot by the left-hander. He is trying to put pressure on Siraj now. Both the batters are exploiting the powerplay to the helm. But wait!!! Shaw goes back to the pavilion. He gets caught at deep square leg. DC are 50/1 after 5 overs.
Warner starts the over with a boundary. He sweeps it this time against Shahbaz Ahmed and gets a boundary toward the fine leg region. DC are 49/0 after 4 overs.
Warner starts the over with a six-off Hazlewood. What a great way to start the over. It's a short pitch delivery and Warner capitalizes and gets a six. This is good batting by Delhi batters. Shaw edges it this time and picks another boundary for his team. DC are 30/0 after 3 overs.
