Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on Thursday officially became Mr and Mrs Kapoor after the two tied the knot in an intimate wedding held at their 'Vastu' residence in Bandra's Pali Hill area of Mumbai.

Despite the venue swamped with media and a lot of buzz happening on the Internet, the two exchanged their vows in secrecy by keeping hush-hush about their wedding ceremonies. To celebrate their marriage and all the buzz surrounding the newlyweds, Amul on Thursday shared a cute topical.

In the sketch, groom Ranbir Kapoor is seen feeding his bride Alia Bhatt a piece of bread covered in Amul toast while the brand's mascot girl stands beside them with a tray full of buttered toast.

The quirky caption on the picture reads: 'Patt Mangani, Bhatt Byaah,' which is a play on Hindi saying 'Chatt Mangni, Patt Byaah' meaning quickly getting married after exchangins rings at the engagement ceremony.

Other brands such as Swiggy, Zomato and Netflix India also took to their respective Twitter accounts to wish the couple as they embark on a new journey.

"Congratulations alia and ranbir, let us know if student of the year and salesman of the year need anything from the start-up of the year," Zomato tweeted.

According to reports, the wedding was a two-day affair with the couple getting engaged on April 13, which coincided with Kapoor's parent's engagement in 1979. The same day mehendi ceremony was held followed by haldi and wedding on April 14.

The wedding festivities were a tight-knit affair with the media stationed outside getting morsels of information about what was going inside till Alia finally shared the pictures from the wedding on her social media pages.

Soon after tying the knot, Bhatt, 29, took to her official Instagram to make the announcement and share first glimpses with fans.

Alia and Ranbir matched the colour of their wedding outfits in ivory and gold: lehenga and matching kundan jewellery for the bride and sherwani for the groom from Bollywood's go-to wedding designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
