Zilingo Co-founder and CEO, Ankiti Bose has lawyered up and disputed allegations of wrongdoing. She further contended that her suspension was due in part to her complaints about harassment. 

Media reports have shown that Co-founder and CEO Ankiti Bose has disputed these allegations and contested her suspension as well. She allegedly called the company’s strict action a witch hunt.

The B2B online fashion company, which supplies technology to apparel merchants and factories, had been trying a raise $150 to $200 million which would have put its valuation at over $1 billion marking its entry into the unicorn club. Media reports have shown that Bose has disputed these allegations and contested her suspension as well. She allegedly called the company’s strict action a witch hunt.

The company was founded in 2015 by Ankiti Bose along with Dhruv Kapoor when she was 23 years old. Kapoor is currently heading the technology and product vertical of the company.

In the year 2019 when company’s valuations witnessed a rise and went up to $950 million. It was followed by the funding of $226 million raised from investors including Sequoia and Temasek.

Before establishing Zilingo, Ankiti Bose was associated with McKinsey & Company in 2012 and joined Sequoia Capital as an investment analyst in 2014.

Bose completed her schooling at Cambridge School, Mumbai. Later on, went to St Xavier’s college to study economics.
