The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested one more suspect in connection with the Rampurhat killing.
Ritam Sheikh was nabbed by the agency last night following interrogation of other accused. This is the sixth arrest by CBI. It had arrested four accused from Mumbai and one from Rampurhat. Sheikh was produced in court and remanded to CBI custody, sources said. The CBI searched Ritan's house after his arrest, the official said.
A few days ago, Samir Sheikh was arrested by CBI and he is being interrogated along with other accused.
The agency has also taken custody of 22 persons arrested earlier by the police.
