Mumbai are, for all intents and purposes, in the midst of a rebuild; with their veterans aging and responsible for five trophies, this is as good a time as any. But that leaves them exposed to the powerhouses of the IPL. With Dewald Brewis and Tilak Verma gaining experience and Jofra Archer set to join the squad next year, 2023 could be Mumbai's year, but 2022? Well, it could be Punjab's. Having signed players like Liam Livingstone, Shikhar Dhawan, Jonny Bairstow, Kesigo Rabada and Rahul Chahar, this looks like a squad to beat, but for their bowling issues. Mumbai have lost all four of their matches so far, while Punjab have won only two of their four. Both teams come into this fixture angling for a win, But, both teams have their issues, whichever captain - Rohit Sharma or Mayank Agarwal - figures it out first will come out on top. In addition, Mumbai skipper Rohit is 25 runs away from the 10,000 T20 runs milestone. If he achieves it this match, he will become the second Indian to do so - after Virat Kohli - and the seventh of all-time.
