Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.2% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:34AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 0.71 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.67 per cent), DLF(up 0.38 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.16 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 0.22 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.2 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.1 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.2 per cent at 467.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.35 points at 17541.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 4.3 points at 58580.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Redington, Magma Fincorp and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd., Bang Overseas, Krishana Phoschem, Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd. and Jash Engineering hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Innovative Tyres & T hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
