
Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to tie the knot this week. The pre-wedding festivities have reportedly begun at Ranbir Kapoor’s residence Vastu in Mumbai’s Pali Hills.
Ahead of the wedding, there was a lot of speculation surrounding the Bollywood stars’ wedding date and venue. According to reports, the couple is set to the knot at Vastu on April 14. The wedding will be a very close-knit family affair, with only 20-30 guests in attendance.
On Tuesday night, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji was spotted arriving at Ranbir Kapoor’s house. Ayan on Wednesday shared a sneak peek of Brahmastra song “Kesariya” featuring Alia and Ranbir. Along with the clip, Ayan wrote a heartfelt message for his closest friends. Here’s the filmmaker’s complete note:

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to tie the knot. However, the venue has not been disclosed yet. Earlier, some reports suggested that the venue is going to be Ranbir's family home in Chembur. However, it looks like the ceremonies and the wedding will take place at Ranbir's house, Vastu.
After attending Ranbir and Alia's mehendi ceremony, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt were seen leaving from Ranbir Kapoor's residence Vastu.
The couple is expected to tie the knot on April 14th but Randhir Kapoor today told Pinkvilla that nuptials are likely on April 15th. “Ranbir is going to get married but not today. It's around the 15th. I am very happy,” he said.
Ila Arun on Tuesday shared a picture with Soni Razdan. Sharing the picture on her Instagram account, Ila wrote, 'Hamari sony sasu ma ban raheein hai. ❤️congratulations Mahesh and Dear sony. GodBless Aliya and Ranbeer.'

Alia Bhatt's security team told indianexpress.com that the wedding is indeed happening. They said, “We are looking after the security of all the wedding events, and taking care of the guests.”
Sanjay Dutt wished Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt 'happiness, peace and glory.' In a conversation with The Times of India, Dutt spoke about marriage being a commitment that they are making to each other. He suggested that Ranbir and Alia will “have to hold each other’s hands and move ahead in happiness, peace and glory.' Concluding his statement, he told Ranbir to 'make kids soon, and stay happy.'

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will have their mehendi ceremony today at Vastu. The preparations for the pre-wedding ceremony have already started at Ranbir's house. The couple will also have the choodha and pagdi ceremony today.

The photographers, who are trying their best to catch a glimpse of Ranbir and Alia's wedding festivities, have been warned not to come in front of the cars and block their way to click pictures. However, the photographers are concerned that if they won't block the away, they won't get any photos.
