Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Green(Rs. 1196.24 crore), TCS(Rs. 947.09 crore), PayTM(Rs. 872.69 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 741.20 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 729.43 crore), RIL(Rs. 649.97 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 575.59 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 556.32 crore), HDFC(Rs. 530.15 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 451.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 170.15 points down at 17504.8, while BSE Sensex was down 496.66 points at 58467.91 as of 10:55AM(IST)on April 12.

In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.54 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.53 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.38 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 4.55 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 4.33 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 3.44 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.13 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.76 per cent) were among the top losers.
