ThinkStock PhotosNEW DELHI: Adani Green(Rs. 2219.69 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2047.12 crore), TCS(Rs. 1661.73 crore), RIL(Rs. 1568.40 crore), PayTM(Rs. 1409.62 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 1360.47 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1306.08 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1237.03 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1124.27 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 1064.26 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 144.65 points down at 17530.3, while BSE Sensex fell 388.2 points to 58576.37.
In the Nifty index, Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.58 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 5.90 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 5.30 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 3.55 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 3.04 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.77 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
