NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 10:50AM

Prataap Snacks(up 2.55%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 1.98%), Future Consumer(up 1.08%), Varun Beverages(up 0.82%), Emami(up 0.74%), Dangee Dums(up 0.54%), Dabur India(up 0.25%) and Nakoda Group(up 0.10%) were among the top gainers.

Bajaj Consumer(down 2.25%), Zydus Wellness(down 2.04%), ADF Foods(down 1.99%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 1.77%), Parag Milk(down 1.67%), Heritage Foods(down 1.59%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 1.55%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.43%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.43%) and Dodla Dairy(down 1.25%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 153.6 points down at 17521.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 434.03 points at 58530.54 at around 10:50AM.

Tata Consultancy(up 0.75%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.54%), HCL Technologies(up 0.49%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.39%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.34%), HDFC(up 0.25%) and HDFC Bank(up 0.17%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 4.55%), Coal India(down 4.46%), Tata Steel(down 3.42%), Tata Motors(down 3.03%), Grasim Industries(down 2.87%), Larsen & Toubro(down 2.11%), JSW Steel(down 2.09%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.97%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.51%) and State Bank of India(down 1.5%) were trading in the red.
