ESR leases out 43,000 sq ft industrial space in Chennai’s Oragadam to A2Mac1

Logistics development platform ESR has leased 43,000 sq ft industrial space to A2Mac1, the automotive competitive benchmarking and reverse engineering firm at its park in Chennai’s Oragadam.

A2Mac1, headquartered in France, will use this facility for developing unmatched data and reports for automobile companies in terms of design, performance, and cost.

“As the automobile industry goes through a transformation, R&D and creation of breakthrough products is the need of the hour…As the interest in India rises among global companies, we look forward to creating an ecosystem to support international companies to thrive on India's manufacturing prowess and industrial infrastructure,” said Abhijit Malkani, Country Head, ESR India.

Spread across 80 acres, ESR Oragadam is a state-of-the-art industrial & logistics park in the Oragadam’s industrial belt that is an existing hub for sectors such as automobile, auto-ancillary, R&D centres, 3PLs, electronics, energy, aerospace and defence.

The development is expected to benefit A2Mac1 for its prime automobile manufacturing location, business environment, infrastructure, relevant workforce, and connectivity to the world through ports.
