Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.0% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 11:25AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.

Oberoi Realty(up 2.37 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.3 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.1 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.08 per cent), DLF(down 0.49 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.08 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was 0.0 per cent at 474.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 92.35 points at 17692.0, while the BSE Sensex was down 386.35 points at 59060.83.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, Adani Power and Tata Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Cool Caps Industries Ltd., Agro Phos India, Blue Chip India, Mirza Intnl and Gujarat Ambuja hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while McDowell Hold, Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd., P E Analytics Ltd., JMT Auto and Future Supply Chain hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
