Shriram Trans Fin shares gain 0.43% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 1212.85 on BSE at 11:51AM (IST) on Monday, up 0.43 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1002.5 and a high of Rs 1696.15.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 13.75 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 88.22 per share and 1.66 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 23,741 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:51AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 32812.69 crore and is part of the NBFC - Vehicle Finance industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 17.59 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 20.23 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1217.05 and Rs 1197.95.

Promoters held 26.06 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. stood at 53.15 per cent and 6.29 per cent, respectively.
