Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Ruchi Soya Inds(Rs. 996.54 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 731.28 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 725.56 crore), Infosys(Rs. 628.14 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 560.40 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 378.61 crore), ITC(Rs. 355.83 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 335.20 crore), TCS(Rs. 323.15 crore) and RIL(Rs. 310.81 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 72.75 points down at 17711.6, while BSE Sensex was down 314.83 points at 59132.35 as of 10:34AM(IST)on April 11.

In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) were among the top losers.
