A new prime minister will be elected in Pakistan today (on Monday). On Sunday, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi nominated for the post of PM. The proceedings of the Pakistani Parliament will begin at 2 pm today, in which the new Prime Minister will be elected. Shahbaz Sharif is more likely to become the PM of Pakistan because he has more support of MPs. Pakistan's opposition is united.

After the fall of Imran Khan's government, PTI workers are demonstrating in many cities of Pakistan. Imran Khan himself has called upon the party workers to protest. Slogans are also being raised against the Pakistani army in these demonstrations.

The slogan 'Chowkidar Chor Hai' was raised at a rally organised by PTI leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at Lal Haveli in Pakistan's Punjab province. In this, while the army described as 'watchman', were called 'thief'. However, Rashid asked not to raise such slogans.

"The new government will take on board the Opposition benches on national issues," senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz, Ahsan Iqbal, has said.
