That's raining sixes from Hetmyer. Hetmyer again hits a six against Holder. Riyan also hits a biggie, it's a slower delivery from Holder and Riyan whips it and he departs. LSG need 166 runs to win.
Ashwin retires and Riyan Parag replaces him in the middle. This is a good move from Rajasthan in order to play the hitter in the last two overs.
Hetmyer is turning it on here for Rajasthan. Two big shots from him now. Some serious hitting from Hetmyer. He is taking on Avesh Khan this time and he reaches his half-century. RR are 149/4 after 19 overs.
This is splendid. Hetmyer smashes it away for a six against Holder. He hits it through long-on and gets a six. The partnership is going strong between Hetmyer and Ashwin. He hits another six now, this time he goes straight against Holder. RR are 133/4 after 18 overs.
Back-to-back sixes for Ashwin. He slashes it for a six against Krishnappa Gowtham. That's 12 runs in just 2 balls against Gowtham. Attacking batting from Ashwin. RR are 108/4 after 16 overs.
A sin more cardinal in cricket than bowling a thigh-high full toss is perhaps getting out to a full-toss. As did Sanju Samson, when he tried to flick a full-toss on the knee roll and completely missed it. The ball that slipped out of Holder’s palm, dipped a trifle as it reached him (beaten on the dip off a medium-pacer, how embarrassing that could be), and Sanju just wafted the air. The ball struck him so adjacent that he did not even linger on for a review. Perhaps wondering how he contrived to perish to a full-toss, he even dropped his bat on the ground without realising when walking back. Maybe he premeditated; maybe his eyes lit up; maybe he tried to hit harder than usual. Whatever be the reason, Sanju walked back, defeated by a harmless little full toss.

Hetmyer smashes a six against Gowtham. It's a clean strike from him. Hetmyer looks to hit a big shot and he does it at the right time. RR are 80/4 after 12 overs.
It's a dream start for Krishnappa Gowtham. He scalps the wicket of van der Dussen. It's a sharp off-break delivery from Gowtham and he beats van der Dussen. This is a game-changing over as he picks two wickets in the same over. RR are 67/4 after 9.5 overs.
Avesh Khan has a default first ball—full-length, at the stumps, swinging in—whatever the format or standard of the game. He once explained the logic to this paper: “The first ball is often my fastest ball, and if I keep that at stumps, there is a great chance that the batsman could miss the ball and I could hit the stumps. I always stick to that.” So he screamed in and bowled a full-pelt full-length ball around Jos Buttler’s off-stump. The Englishman, stuck in a dot-ball pit, attempted an ungainly half-slap, half-slog at the ball. He was beaten for pace and marginal inward movement that hammered his middle-stump. Khan was ecstatic—his trusted method has earned him another wicket. And he blew kisses into the Mumbai night.

Well done Krishnappa Gowtham! He takes the wicket of in-form Padikkal. Padikkal looks to play the reverse sweep but edges it with gloves towards slip and returns to the pavilion. RR are 64/3 after 9.1 overs.
Samson departs on a full toss delivery by Holder. He fails to hit the full toss delivery and misses it. He takes it on his pads and departs. RR are 60/2 after 8.3 overs.
Samson just using the pace beautifully there against Avesh Khan. It's a back-of-a-length delivery and Samson plays a late-cut through point and gets a boundary. RR are 58/1 after 8 overs.
That's a terrific shot by the skipper. He hits it straight against Bishnoi and gets a boundary. Sanju is a wonderful stroke-maker. It's a clean hit for a four. RR are 49/1 after 6.2 overs.
Avesh Khan scalps the wicket of Buttler. This is a very crucial wicket for Lucknow. What a start for Avesh Khan, Buttler swings and completely misses it. RR are 42/1 after 5.1 overs.
Chameera bowls at a good pace conceding just 3 runs. Good comeback from Chameera as Lucknow will now be looking to take wickets. This is good captaincy by Rahul. RR are 42/0 after 5 overs.
It's a short delivery outside off and Padikkal hits it for a boundary. He gets two back-to-back fours against Bishnoi. Great batting by Rajasthan. RR are 39/0 after 4 overs.
Padikkal goes clean this time over the bowler's head and picks a boundary against Chameera. Both the batters are looking dangerous now. What a great way to start the inning! RR are 26/0 after 3 overs.
Jason Holder comes to bowl the second over. Here comes the first six from Jos Buttler. He stands and delivers it for a six against Holder. What a hit!! He follows it up and ends the over with a boundary now. RR are 19/0 after 2 overs.
Chameera to bowl the first over. Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler start the proceedings for Rajasthan. It's a good length delivery from Chameera and Padikkal looks to drive the ball but edges and gets a four. RR are 9/0 after 1 over.
Sanju Samson:We did the same thing last time (batting first), so just need to put runs on the board and defend it later. Nothing can be done about the toss, our team is well-balanced to deal with that factor. We have two changes - Kuldeep Sen in for Navdeep Saini, Rassie van der Dussen in for Yashasvi Jaiswal.
KL Rahul: We're gonna look to bowl first. Even last game, I didn't have any other reason. Just that we want to know what to chase and maybe, dew might come on later. Every game starts fresh and I've not had a great game here. It always balances out. Just want to come out and do the job for the team. We're chasing, so we'll know what to do and I can pace my innings accordingly. We have a great team and that makes the team of a captain easy. When you have experienced players and about 9/10 of the players in the first XI are international players, it makes the captain's role easier. I'm enjoying the captaincy. Two changes - Lewis and Tye miss out, Stoinis and Chameera come in.
