Amidst the ongoing drive to raze illegal properties using bulldozers owned by criminals across the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to ensure that no houses or shops owned by the poor are demolished during the process.

Adityanath told officials that while there was zero tolerance towards crime and criminals under his government, they should show sensitivity towards poor and the marginalised.

A government spokesperson said, “CM Yogi Adityanath.. has given strict instructions that the bulldozers should be used only to demolish of illegal properties owned by the mafia and criminals.โ€He also directed them to take strict action against those who encroach on the property of the poor.
